About Rural Studio

We are a full-service creative studio specialising in creative direction and content production. We also create memorable digital and in-person experiences that help tell brand stories and grow businesses. We particularly like working with conscious brands who share our deep love for nature and the outdoors. We are creative, strategic thinkers with over 10 years of experience in content and communications within the travel, lifestyle and hospitality industries.

Kim

Rural Studio is led by Kim Grant – a creative director and content producer from Scotland with over 10 years experience working in content and communications for travel and lifestyle brands. Kim has a deep love for nature, travel and creative culture. She is one of the authors of the bestselling guidebook Wild Guide Scotland and is currently working on a second title.

Kim worked as Editorial Creative Director at global travel media company Culture Trip for 5 years where she led editorial campaigns, developed merchandising strategies, art-directed and produced photography, video and illustrated content.

Today Kim splits her time between Rural Studio projects, making books, projects and marketing at The Taybank.
