The Journey north to Wildland destinations in Sutherland

Wildand are the custodians of three Scottish country estates and run one of the country’s largest conservation projects. The organisation also runs several luxury hospitality sites.

We were commissioned to produce The Journey North project which comprises a 20-page interactive guide, a short film and supporting social assets for guests travelling to Wildland destinations in Sutherland. The aim is to provide guests with ideas of what to see and do, which local businesses to visit and what activities to try during their stay.

Our interactive guide features a number of natural sites and outdoor activities, local businesses selling food and provisions, and historic and cultural sites. We also curated a packing list, book recommendations and a playlist for the journey.

Our short film documents the journey north via Lairg, along the north coast and back south along the northeast coast. It celebrates Sutherland’s natural beauty and the independent businesses and creative locals that make this part of Scotland so special.
